Window dance with snapping windows with Wobbly Windows plugin

If you hold down shift (or the configured snap windows key for the wobbly windows plugin) and move a window to the edge of the screen with the mouse, then release the mouse button, the window proceeds to dance and wobble around for a long time. This happens anytime you release the mouse button when the window is not perfectly aligned with the edges of the screen, and you see the edge of the screen pulling the window edges in for snapping off. This bug was introduced in compiz version 1:0.9.4+bzr20110606-0ubuntu1~natty1, and was not present in 1:0.9.4+bzr20110415-0ubuntu2.

The problem is not limited to snapping to the edge of the screen. It also appears when snapping to another window.

 Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

I believe this is fixed. I do not have this problem on Ubuntu 12.10.
