import text truncated without warning

IMHO truncation must be accepted explicitly for specific or for all records.

gtk-form - open a form - import data

supply a csv with char fields longer than the data base definition
example res_currency
 symbol | character varying(3)
try to import a symbol with 4 charcters
it will be cut off
this is an example only
