How can I know if it is duplicate if the other bug is not public?

All apport-submitted bugs are initially treated as private (as was
yours). And then promoted to public once they are vetted.

However, only Martin Pool can currently mark the bug as public, and he
is at a conference this week. Probably he can get to it next week (I am
also unable to see bug 794608).

I can do so now too, since I became a PPU for Bazaar in Ubuntu a couple
of weeks ago. I've just marked that bug as public.

Cheers,
