Bug Description

Binary package hint: kde-guidance

There is an issue with the kde-guidance-powermanager icons which can make it impossible to see the charge level when the battery is discharging, the panel the icon is on is transparent and the desktop background is dark.

Unlike the charging-* icons the discharging-* icons have the background of the battery set as transparent, which makes it very difficult to see the black bars denoting charge level when the panel is transparent and the background is dark - it looks like the battery is fully charged all the time.

Setting the background of the battery in the discharging-* images to white (as it is in the charging-* icons) instead of transparent will fix the issue.

It would also be nice if the colour of the power icon next to the charging-* images could be made to stand out more, since it is also difficult to see against a dark background.

Powermanager already has new icons, though it's unlikely that Edgy will be updated using those.
