When a brick is created, the topology is not updated until you refresh the view.

I do not have this problem. I will investigate further.
Instead, I notice a problem related to a missing topology update when you change bricks configuration (for example vde-switch connection).

I will add new brick event raised when the configuration change and will test all the bricks type for missing update on creation.

I tested all bricks for the missing topology update on creation. I cannot see the problem.
I can confirm the missing update when a brick is reconfigured. I'll work on the latter issue.
