Kopete file transfers from libgaim clients stop at 100%

Binary package hint: kopete

Whenever I receive a file from a user using GAIM, file transfer stalls at 100% and leaves the file in an unusable state (especially true for pictures and documents).

I also have this problem. The trasfer stalls at 100% and the files are damaged. opening fails with all my pictures applications, my pictures editors and browsers.

Confirmed. It affects receiving from any clients using libgaim. Could it be the same bug that upstream fixed here: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113525 that needs fixing in libgaim?

I have this bug in kde 3.5.6 with MSN, Gtalk and Jabber protocols. It seems a general bug in kopete.
