Attachments are corrupted and sometimes content of one email is seen in another

Binary package hint: evolution

I have had trouble with opening a number of attachments including PDF's , Word files, Excel files etc. Normally open office has no trouble with these. I tried forwarding the emails with attachments to Gmail and Google Docs can't open them either. I'm assuming they get corrupted as I receive them into evolution. I have also seen content from one email end up in a non-related email. I only started noticing this since I went to Natty Narwhal but that may be a coincidence.
