Bug Description

I am using a laptop with an onboard HDA audio chipset (disabled due to physical jack problems) and an external USB audio interface. While the external interface works fine normally, every time I suspend, the volume level is muted; the volume level should be retained over suspend.

Thanks for your report. Could you please get a log from pulseaudio as outlined at the following URL: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log. Once you have started logging, suspend, then resume. Hopefully something will show up in the log that points to the problem.
