ginput doesn't work

Bug Description
Binary package hint: octave3.2
Try:
imshow(rand(100))
[x,y,k]=ginput(5)
ginput always returns 0
the issue is known:

The Patch at the End must be converted to apply to the current octave...
Inserting the corresponding line by hand resolves the issue.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Raring Ringtail. It won't be fixed in previous versions of Ubuntu because the package doesn't fit the requirements for backporting. See https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/UbuntuBackp orts for more information.
