I always get an error of an failed backup of Déjà Dup when I start my computer. When I try the backup a bit later after the start of my computer the backup on the network share works without problems.

What desktop environment do you use? Does it use NetworkManager? There is code in Deja Dup to wait until a network connection is available, but it uses NetworkManager to determine that.
