Bug Description

Binary package hint: keepassx

Hi,

it seems that the system tray features in KeePassX are not working any more under Ubuntu 11.04 Unity desktop. Although there is still the panel on the upper right showing network connection, volume and user, activating the option "Show system tray icon" under "General (1)" in settings does not make the icon appear in the system tray.

When the sub-items are also checked and I close KeePassX, the window disappears from screen and from unity task bar on the left, but the process still keeps running (and restarting KeePassX from the menu says that the key file is locked and if I want to open it in read-only mode). So it seems that the process is kept then - as it should be - but just the icon is missing.

I can confirm the same issue with keepassx. While other programs systray icons behave as expected after
gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']"
When keepassx is launched via command line systray icon is shown.
When keepassx is launched via menu item - there is an attempt to show something, I can see a small dot or smudge that appears in the systray and disappears when i quit the app.
