Can't shut down when VLC is running

Bug Description

If I click on shut down while VLC is running ubuntu only closes VLC. Then I have to choose shut down again for the system to actually shut down. I'm using ubuntu 11.04 64-bit

I can't reproduce it on Ubuntu 11.10 (i386) and it was fixed upstream. Therefore I am closing this bug for Ubuntu too.
