Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I am not certain that this problem is a bug, but previous versions of rhyhmnbox had cd Identification, and this latest version does not. If it is not a bug, it certainly is an oversight. This is supposed to be a media player. I have not heard of a program that does not automatically have this feature in it I don't want to jump through hoops trying to find the correct plug-in. If i wanted to do that, I'd use Windows !!

I can confirm this. In 11.04, the HTTP requests being made to retrieve album details are returning a 404. Please find attached an example of the HTTP request/response that Rhythmbox is making. I also run Ubuntu 9.10, this bug occurs there too.
Fixed in Rhythmbox source here: http:// git.gnome. org/browse/ rhythmbox/ commit/ ?id=1c2f40b5895 4be25d0ea31d008 a6763997f96307
