Bug Description
Running simple stitching of cylindrical panoramas, starting with 16-bit TIF files, typically 125-150 MB each, created by Photoshop from RAW files. I've encountered this with 2010.4, 2010.5 and 2011.0b2.
Most of the time things work very well, but for some sets I see errors like this when trying to generate control points:
cpfind(
*** error: can't allocate region
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
cpfind(
*** error: can't allocate region
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
cpfind(
*** error: can't allocate region
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
These are reproducible; they seem to happen most often with large sets (10+ files) but sometimes large ones work fine.
I'm not going to attach the most recent data set I've encountered this with - 12 files, about 1.8 GB total - but I'd be happy to provide then for whomever is willing to look into this...
