Bug Description
I'm investigating bug 756719, using qemu. My invocation is as follows. oneiric-
qemu-system-ppc -monitor stdio -m 512 -cpu G4 -M mac99 -bios /usr/share/
When d-i tries to bring up the network, I get this in /var/log/syslog (I had to copy-type this, so please excuse errors, but I tried to be as accurate as possible):
NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0 (ne2k-pci): transmit queue 0 timed out

eth0: Tx timed out, lost interrupt? TSR=0x1, ISR=0x3, t=89.
The "lost interrupt" messages repeat, and eth0 is dead.
The same thing happens on Natty.
