Please merge the new version from Debian unstable. The Debian changelog follows:

boa-constructor (0.4.4cvs20050714-3) unstable; urgency=low

  * Use python-support (Closes: #380758)

After review, don't do this. Wait until Debian bug# 399276 has been resolved. 0.4.4cvs20050714-2ubuntu1 may not comply with python-policy, but it installs cleanly, unlike the Debian version. The current version of python-support does not offer a mechanism to exclude the ZopeLib/ directories from byte-compilation, although python-central does (py_compilefiles -x), and would support custom postinst and postrm if dh_pycentral was called with --noscripts.
