Bug Description

Currently, the dash does not remember its state (normal or maximized) between uses.

I would expect it to work thusly:

Open dash.
Maximize.
run something.
do other stuff.
re-open dash. dash is again maximized

Just an FYI, you can edit com.canonical.Unity.form-factor in dconf-editor (found in package dconf-tools) and set it to Netbook (if you want it to be maximized all the time)

Would need design discussion, in any case.
