Memtest provided with the Natty distro is incompatible with Sandy Bridge chipset

Bug Description

The app. locks up upon launch and a hard reboot is needed.
I downloaded 4.2 from http://www.memtest.org/ and it worked as expected. Should the version on the distro be updated?

Keywords: Memtest, Memtest86, v4.10, Intel I5-2500k, Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3, Mushkin Redline Pc3-17000, DDR3, Natty, Sandy Bridge.

 Long story short: Memtest86+ V4.10 is BROKEN on late model hardware (June 9, 2011). Do not use.

 Memtest86+ V4.10 is the default for Natty Ubuntu 11.04.

Oneiric has 4.20, opening a task for natty, but not sure if it's possible to release as an update.

natty has seen the end of its life and is no longer receiving any updates. Marking the natty task for this ticket as "Won't Fix".
