BeatBox crashes the library is being scanned

When I select Menu > Library > Rescan Music Folder the application chrashes about 50% of the time.

Could you give some more details?

Does it crash at the very beginning? Somewhere in the middle. The very end?
What terminal output is there?

i have the issue too. I added new album and asked for a rescan and the app keeps crashing.

and when the doesn't crash, I have no idea whether the scan succeed or not, and I search for the newly added artist from the search box, I have no results.

if beatbox does not crash the library seems to not get updated, but in fact it did, beatbox does not load the changes from it's database, a restart of beatbox fixes that

From all the testing I have done, this has been fixed. Please let me know if you still have problems.
