Bug Description

Since the upgrade to Kubuntu 11.04 the X session is sometimes restarted (I assume due to some crash somewhere). Or worse, sometimes my laptop gets fully frozen after the X session has crashed and some errors are displayed in console (I cannot copy them as the system gets fully frozen).

It occurs once or twice a day. Never occured it with previous Kubuntu version (64 bits) in the same laptop.

I appreciate any guidance to provide useful debugging information.

For crashes you need to provide a backtrace when filing bug reports - see http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing for guidance in how to collect them.

The logs you attached don't show an X crash, but maybe you had rebooted a few times since the crash. A common X crash on natty is bug #774978. Without seeing a backtrace for your issue I'd have to guess it's just a dupe of that bug.
