Bug Description
There are no monochrome replacement for pidgin in the notification area making it look inconsistent with the rest of the system if one chooses not to install indicators.

To give some clarification: Pidgin doesn't use the icon theme. You will have to file a bug against Pidgin to change that, or use a specific status icon theme.
