Thank you for submitting this bug in order to make Ubuntu better, can you provide more details in regards to what make and model your camera / microphone are? Until then we cannot get to work on this bug. I'm marking it as incomplete.

Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
