Bug Description

I previously tried installing from synaptic and encountered problems because of the python-mlt version required (openshot wants 0.2, Kdenlive wants 0.3), and the other problem seems to be that openshot is asking for python 2.5 (according to software center). I will update the bug description after I do some more checking.

Hi,
To my side, I hope to finish the natty Installation this week-end.
A thought. The version of Kdnelive need the 0.7.0 (at least) who is in their repository. She is using libmlt4 and not limlt3 who is provide by the Ubuntu repository. One remove the other.
Normally, Openshot doesn't need a special number version for working, the only thing is that some features are not activated.
Wainting your complementary tests (and mine too), Thanks.

Another thing, which one have you installed in first ? Openshot or Kdenlive ?
If I remember well, previously, at another moment, this problem was present and was different if you install them 0in a order different. And same the previous version who was in the Ubuntu repository was working fine while the sunab repository was bringing a lot of problems.
