Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager-openvpn-kde

When adding/editing an openvpn connection using the default network manager in Kubuntu (after installing network-manager-openvpn-kde) when I set the "X.509 With Password" Connection type and then set the username to what the vpn network wants (a long number) it is always reverts to my Kubuntu username (trevorld) when I look at the settings later instead of staying the username I actually specified. It is hard to say if it is also keeping the correct passwod since I can only see bullets. Suffice to say I can't connect to my openvpn network with the Kubuntu network manager. Had this exact same problem in Meerkat, was only able to get the openvpn connection to work by uninstalling the Kubuntu network manager and installing the one from Ubuntu.
