Bug Description

I'm new to Ubuntu. i have installed it on a external HDD. I'm using an Dell Inspiron 1545. everything works fine except for the WiFi. When I go to system settings > additional drivers .... a widows comes up about and inactive broadcom drive. I have the B4312 802.11 b/g. when i try to activate this driver a error comes up saying :

Sorry, installation of this driver failed.

Please have a look at the log file for details: /var/log/jockey.log

if someone could please help me, it would be much appreciated.
