Bug Description

I am am using i386 Ubuntu on a dual core machine it will not run unity so am using Genome desktop. I start Openshot and it stays on about 3 seconds and Ubuntu crashes. I did get and installed updates I guess for ubuntu 11.04 from Openshot. This made no difference. I am using a dual core ASUS mother board in a 2003 HP computer. I can't open, Openshot to read the version but it is the latest one 1.3 something I think. PPA installation.

Hi,
Could you run it in a terminal and put here the result

I'm sorry I can't do that. I needed to get some video work done so
I reinstalled 10.04 and openshot video editor. I think what I have
learned is to stay one upgrade behind all the time where Ubuntu is
concerned. It's fun to play on the bleeding edge but but I really need
the more stable system.
As a testimonial: I have kept Xp on my machine as I needed Premier
to do video. Having Openshot means I no longer need Premier and so XP
is gone. Actually, I have not needed it for some months now. I am
happy as a clam. Doug

I was using OpenShot 1.3.0. I have reinstalled in Ubuntu 10.04 and it
runs great. Doug
