desktop-effects not depending on compiz-gnome

Binary package hint: desktop-effects

After updating my edgy installation to feisty I installed desktop-effects. When trying enable desktop-effects it complained that I didn't have gtk-window-decorator installed. gtk-window-decorator is provided by compiz-gnome. Is desktop-effects missing a dependency to compiz-gnome? Manually installing compiz-gnome resolves the problem but shouldn't this be expressed as a dependency?

HOWTO REPRODUCE:

Make sure you have desktop-effects installed. Remove compiz-gnome package if installed. Start System/Preferences/Desktop Effects. Press "Enable Desktop Effects"-button. Error message containing "Failed to execute child process "gtk-window-decorator" (No such file or directory)" is displayed.

The package desktop-effect does not reside in ubuntu Edgy repos. Changing package to compiz. Can you please attach the output of apt-cache show compiz-gnome and apt-cache policy desktop-effects to this bug report.

Ok its back to desktop-effects i can still use the output from those commands if you can attach them.

I have the same issue if I install the compiz-gnome everything works fine without compiz-gnome you can not switch on the effects at all.
