Bug Description
Binary package hint: aptdaemon
I can't download or install anything using the Software Centre. I don't know if I can install anything without it. Instead it just gives me an error message: "There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon. This is the software that allows you to install/remove software and to perform other package management related tasks."
Also: I can't open the Software Centre normally, I have to use the terminal.
I use Ubuntu 11.04, and when I wrote 'apt-cache policy pkgname' it just said "N: Unable to locate package pkgname".
