gnome-main-menu keeps crashing when adding to GNOME panel

This has been mentioned before but I have some added info I hope may be of use in tracking this bug.

What hapens: When adding gnome-main-menu to the panel it crashes and gives a bug report I have saved: Now this happens to all users expect 2 which the main menu works just fine. With all other users the applet crahses and askes to be reloaded or not. The two accounts which the main menu does work I have noticed after being loged in for a long period and not active i.e. screen locked, the account freezes to unusable to sometimes to a compleate hard reboot is needed. I am still doing some testing to make sure the gnome-main-menu is the reason for the freeze but for the crashed applet it happens every time to each user in Edgy. For some odd reason this happens to a FRESH install of Edgy or an updated dapper to edgy. We also tried to create a new home directory all from the standard Edgy format and it still acts the same for the users.
