Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and help to improve Ubuntu.

As you have filed 23 distinct bugs about segmentation faults of packages during upgrade, most of which are executing nothing more than /bin/sh as their maintainer scripts, this does not appear to be a bug in any of these packages, but instead a problem with your hardware that causes common programs to segfault. As such I am marking this bug as invalid. If you can identify the source of these segfaults more precisely and can confirm that it is a bug in the software rather than a hardware problem, please open a new bug report.

Changed in pam (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
