Bug Description
mplayer version 1.0rc4-4.5.2 under 11.04, when called with the --volume option, seems to ignore it and play at either full volume, or previously set volume (per preferences). This used to work in 10.10.
The exact invocation is: gnome-mplayer --loop --volume 60 --random --playlist playlist.pls&
