To help the developers: could you provide more information on the circumstances (you say "periodically").
So e.g. a script might be helpful.

I wish I could, but most of the time it is like I run the script, Sikuli moves into background offscreen, and after some time I realize that it is not here anymore. I was trying to figure out when it fails, but couldn't catch it yet. I have few more stacktraces for different Java versions and they all indicate awt.dll as a problematic frame.

You could try to get nearer to the point, it fails, if you run your script from command line with option -s, so at least the logging is available after the crash.

If you want to watch "the road to hell", you might make some intermediate regions/matches visible with Region.highlight(1) and/or watch your script in slow motion while drinking a cup of coffee or what ever you like.

Since the problem is with awt.dll, I am rather sure it has something to do with the bug I mentioned already (so currently no solution available with your system)

Seems that I've got the pattern. Sikuli crashes every time I put my notebook out of sleep mode. It is not related to the running script. The IDE was simply opened. And although I do have Intel video card, right now I was on ATI.

It might be, that it is the other way round:
Sikuli crashes, when the system goes into the sleep mode, while a script is running, and you realize it at wake up.

During script run, the screen has to be alive all the time.

Makes sense. I've just put my laptop to sleep and back and Sikuli resisted. Maybe it depends on time the laptop spent in sleep mode. Anyway, this bug is too elusive to catch right now.
