Bug Description

Currently XI2.1 support is non existent in fedora ( work in progress upstream ), so please allow us to build without utouch support, if possible.

Why this is classified as wishlist ?

This is preventing unity from getting into distros which do not have xi2.1 support

Unassigning, I can't explain the choice because I'm not the one who took it, but XI2.1 provides features unity need and is most distro nowadays, that bug should probably be closed

Since XI2.1 is needed for Unity to work, this bug cannot be implemented.

Direct use of thrid-party gesture recognition library dependencies in Unity was removed 4 major revisions ago. This bug does not apply any more.
