Disney DVD Bambi playback crashes

Disney DVD Bambi playback crashes. This is the first version of Bambi movie. I have quite latest mythtv 0.24 in use and mythvideo version is following:

I have those Mythbuntu bug fixes repos enabled above Mythbuntu 10.04 LTS and generally there are excellent mythtv versions but this occured with Disney Bambi movie :-(

Howdy, and thank you for opening this ticket. When you say crashes, do you mean that the frontend completely stops and either takes you back to the window manager, or restarts? If so, does apport give you the opportunity to submit a crash report? You can check /var/crash to see if there is a crash report there.

Hello! Frontend completely stopped with that mythvideo version. Latest mythvideo version can playback the video now but language chosen title window is not shown, it starts with default English. Mythvideo has progress and that's good issue.

Do you have a way to change languages at all (i.e, if you hit your menu button on your remote, can you select different audio tracks, and/or select the root or alternative menus and get to language selection)?

Hi! Directory /var/crash is empty. Yes, I can change audio track language from Bambi setup title.

Latest mythvideo version cannot playback any of those Disney DVD's again :-( (Cars, Martin tale talls and Bambi)

Hi again! Here is mythwelcome-log about trying Pixar Cars Disney DVD (which used to work), same actions happened now with Bambi (log attached). I tried Pixar Cars DVD something like starting 2011-07-15 14:26:00)

Hi again! Sorry, I was amateur :-) I made re-installation for Mythbuntu and forgot to execute sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh script. So these Disney DVD crashes is caused by that. Bambi DVD is still existing problem. Sorry for misleading...

There have been a few improvements added to the -fixes branch. Can you please re-test? If it still fails, please verify the disk works great with external applications (mplayer or vlc), and if so, capture a new log with -v playback on the frontend command line.

Hi! Now it works with latest mythvideo player. Only issue is, that mythvideo doesn't recognize localization of DVD e.g. I have FInnish system, so it could recognize, that I would like to get Finnish language.. But ok, this is minor issue..
