Bug Description
I make use of python-uinput in my Gnome15 project (also on Launchpad). A copied package build fails to with python version problems, so for now I have uploaded an altered version to my own PPA (tanktarta/gnome15) so I can release. The only change required was bumping debian/control and debian/pyversions to 2.7.

Hi and thank you for reporting this.
As with my other projects, I haven't had enough time (bad scheduling, finishing my MSc, busy at work, [insert a random bad excuse here :-)]) to work on this.
However, I will have more time to hack again on interesting things any time soon, in June at the latest. And I probably try to get python-uinput into Debian??, so even more people can benefit from that work.
p.s. You Gnome15 project looks interesting!
