Wifi Notification disappear on the desktop

Bug Description

After I installed ubuntu 11.04 on my laptop acer Aspire 4750, the WiFi notification worked well but after some hours, the wifi notification was disappear (lost) on the Desktop and then I can not access the wifi again. This is the network controller chipset: Atheros AR9287.

Does anybody have an idea on how to fix this instability?

Please run 'apport-collect 779135' to add addiitonal information to this bug report. We'll need at least the logs from .xsession-errors and /var/log/syslog, which should be automatically attached when you run apport-collect. Thanks!
