mouse cannot be active to click in some places of screen!

Bug Description
After opening the internet browser Firefox 4.0 or chrome 11.0.696.57 and surfing a more than one page websites that needs scrolling (e.g. Facebook), two rectangles along the screen become not active to click, however what i click (internet link or/and button in another program). It is more likely if i made a text to be edited and then i click on it but no result..it is not active to be edited or selected or clicked.
Ubuntu version: Ubuntu natty narwhal 11.04
GNOME desktop version: 2.32.1
