Bug Description

After upgrade to Natty my DVD-RAM media is not recognized. After inserting media the drive begins running for a moment, but nothing happens. Media is not mounted, and there is no device node created in /dev (normally /dev/sr0 would be created). Looks like there is something wrong with dbus.
When I insert a DVD-ROM after that, this is also not recognized. I have to reboot to make the drive working again for DVD-ROM.
My drive was working finde under Maverick.

I did some more testing and found that this bug is not related to DVD-RAM. Most of the time inserted CDs/DVDs are not recognized. It's a matter of luck if a DVD is detected. I opened a terminal and started "sudo udevadm monitor". Nothing happens when a CD or DVD is inserted. There is no udev event generated.

I'm very sorry, this was my mistake. I have put a DVD-RAM in the wrong drive. This left the drive in some insane state, that wasn't reset even after reboot. After power off and on the drive was working normally.
The bug can be closed.
