Bug Description

Binary package hint: apt-listbugs

When trying to apply the latest updates/upgrades, apt-listbugs prevents the update from taking place. An error prevent apt-listbugs from completing succesfully, but the error catching seems faulty and just stop all the update process altogether.

This may be related to today's Firefox security update.

Workaround: Remove apt-listbugs to let the update process happen normally.

Here's the full outpout of apt-get upgrade when apt-listbugs is installed:

Followup-For: Bug #312853

Hi,

the severity should be set to grave, because it renders the package useless.
Updating only four packages at a time gives the same error but apt-listbugs
continues working with the assumption that there are no bugs for the up-
graded packages.

Johannes
