Bug Description

Ubuntu 11.04 Live CD x86 doesn't work with HIS ATI Radeon HD 4350 512 MB (64bit) DDR3 HDMI DL-DVI (HDCP) AGP 8X/4X Video Card.

The screen monitor looks partialy blurred so it is imposible to try to do anything.

I can't see any other reports about this issue, are you sure everything is ok on your end?

Does the alternate cd work ok?

I have attached a screen capture.

I suggest you to change the life installation CD and also the Wubi installation automatic video card configuration.

I am going to suggest you that he user should be able to choose manually the video card configuration, including the ubuntu classic installation without effects.

I have to mention that the Wubi installation doesn't work, probably related with the same video card bug.

After the installation, the only configuration that worked for me (login configuration) was the ubuntu classic without effects.

I installed the FGLRX ATI/AMD driver (from ubuntu repositories). This FGLRX ATI/AMD driver has fixed the video card problems.
