Bug Description

Hello,

I installed ubuntu this week at a friends place and wireless seemed to work fine. Coming home I tried to log into our wireless network and my laptop stops working. Mouse doesnt move anymore, no function operates. I have to cold boot again, log in to the save mode, kill the wireless connection, log out again and only then I can log in again.

My wireless is visible, I now connected using an external wireless driver D-link. I have tried almost everything available, updating drivers (my wireless card is atheros AR2427 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express)). I used the info at this page https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EeePC/Fixes, but nothing works.

anyone an idea?
