Bug Description

this extension will not allow buttons to be added to the menu bar.

the "file edit view..." pull down menu bar goes to the upper panel in unity which is what i think is intended, but when i try to add buttons to the menu bar it doesn't work.

that is i go to view-->toolbars-->custonmize add a button, like the "fullscreen" button for example, to the menu bar it doesn't work

when i disable this extension i can add buttons to the menu bar

i would like to be able to add buttons to the menu bar but can't when this extension is enabled, did you mean for the customization of the menu bar to be turned off with this extension?

Changed in globalmenu-extension:
status: New → Invalid

Why was this marked as Invalid? I'm experiencing this on the aurora ppa builds. I haven't tested on the release version because it's non-trivial to switch back and forth... but I can do so if necessary.

Upon further inspection, it seems like the answer is that there is a similar, but possibly related issue. I cannot re-organize *anything* in the toolbar customization. It makes sense if the bookmarks toolbar can't be re-organized and the menu bar can't contain other ff chrome widgets, but is the tab bar not still drawn and managed by firefox? Why can it not be modified?
