Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager-openvpn

Distribution: Natty Desktop amd64

I can connect to VPN server (actually more than one) with the openvpn from command line.
If terminal command is used, tap0 must be preconfigured in interfaces file, but I always thought that this is Network Manager's job.

/etc/network/interfaces file
***
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto tap0
iface tap0 inet dhcp
***

working OpenVFS command:

sudo openvpn --config vfs.conf

But configuration created with Network Manager doesn't work.

This is what I see in syslog:
