Bug Description
I performed an update from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.4. Near the very end of the update, the message "Samba4 - package may not be in a working state. I sent the report, but during Launchpad account creation, the report was lost. I have used the command ubuntu-bug samba4 to regenerate and send the report. I have completely removed Samba4 using the Synaptic Package Manager. I then successfully reinstalled Samba4. Now I can connect to Windows machines in my network. gEDA and gResistor seemed to need Samba4, and would not install. They now install. The problem seems to be solved.
