Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

Running Kubuntu 11.04 on Acer Aspire One and I have my screensaver set as Euphoria and to start automatically. When coming out of the screensaver the first time it works OK, but coming out of it the second time KDM crashes and when the desktop starts again I have no wireless network and I get errors from akonadi.

Looks like this might be related to OpenGL as it only seems to do it with OpenGL screensavers and I tried to do an advanced slideshow in DigiKam over the weekend and that caused a crash when 'use opengl effects' was enabled.

The bug you point to is about KWin crashing, not the entire xsession. Incidentially enough crashing X suggests that something is fishy with the driver/opengl in general.
