Bug Description
Debian has moved it's gcc defaults about 3 weeks prior to gcc-4.6 and the only way I am able to build trunk is by passing gcc-4.5 and g++-4.5 for the compiler options.
It's not crucial, just wanted to give a heads up and to determine if this is a gcc-4.6 problem or a Debian issue.

Hi Marc,
Thanks for reporting this. It's a known bug (see bug #707205) and it will be fixed in Inkscape 0.49. I have also passed a patch on to the Debian maintainer at http:// bugs.debian. org/cgi- bin/bugreport. cgi?bug= 625085
