Bug Description

Running Gnome Shell (from PPA) on Natty and latest Scribes (also from PPA). When pressing Ctrl+Alt+R, the "recent files" window appears behind the focused window. The window does not appear on the overview nor in the list of opened windows (With alt-tab). Making difficult to find it.

It should appear on top of the focused window (Or better, be a transient).

Very consistenly.

Here's how to do it.

1) Launch a fresh Scribes.
2) Press ctrl+alt+R. "Recent files" dialog opens in front of focused window. Can happen twice as well, but never a third.
3) Press ESC to hide the "Recent Files " dialog.
4) Press ctrl+alt+R. "Recent files" dialog opens behind focused window.
5) Repeat from step 2.

I 've only tested this on Gnome-Shell.
