Global menu missing

Binary package hint: thunderbird

I had Thunderbird installed before upgrading to Natty. I did not notice whether the global menu was working or not after the upgrade.

After installing the Enigmail extension through Software Center I noticed that the menu was missing. Tried uninstalling Enigmail, removing Thunderbird, reinstalling Thunderbird + Enigmail with no result. The only other extension I have installed is thunderbird-gnome-support. Global menu works fine with all other applications including Firefox.

There was an update recently which fixed a bug in the global menu. Did the update to 3.1.10 fix this?

I haven't seen this happen again since I reported it. The update probably fixed it, though it may just be that it's difficult to reproduce.
