software center works only if started from terminal with "sudo"

After serveral actualizations the software-center works only if started from terminal with "sudo". Started from the menu, it will just do nothing when pushing the "install" button. This does noet occur when started from terminal with "sudo".

Would you please open a terminal and start software-center normally (no sudo), and past the output here? That will help us to determine what is preventing startup on your machine. Thanks!
