Bug Description
Hi,
after booting my computer (natty amd64) and logging in to unity desktop, I only see a background image, no icons, no launcher, no panel. Mouse is working (I can see and move the mouse pointer.), keyboard is not working (I can't STRG+ALT+F1 or anything else.).
In this case I can only reset my computer.
When this is happening, I'm able to ssh-login from another computer and get some logfiles. While it doesn't react on sudo service gdm restart via ssh, it does on sudo reboot.
The classic desktop does always start without problems. And if I first login to classic desktop, after that log out and log in to unity desktop this one works, too.
I compared syslog of a boot with direct unity login and a boot with direct classic login. The unity syslog states an error:
May 2 07:22:14 obelix kernel: [ 118.958856] [drm:drm_
May 2 07:22:16 obelix gdm-session-
This is not in the syslog when I login to classic desktop.
The Xorg.0.log of the unity login attempt also states after listing modelines:
[ 128.724] (II) RADEON(0): Modeline "1440x900"x0.0 88.75 1440 1488 1520 1600 900 903 909 926 +hsync -vsync (55.5 kHz)
[ 199.086] [mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.

I hope this can be fixed somehow.
Let me know I you need some more logfiles. This bug is easy to reproduce.
